Dr. Baldwin specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and PTSD. He has extensive experience in using CBT to help clients gain practical skills to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Baldwin is also trained in EMDR therapy. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a psychotherapy approach designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories. EMDR is recognized as an effective treatment for trauma and other disturbing experiences.
Trauma therapy sessions are designed to help clients heal from the effects of trauma, such as PTSD, childhood abuse, and sexual assault. Dr. Baldwin uses evidence-based treatments, such as EMDR and trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), to help clients process their trauma and develop coping skills to manage symptoms.
